It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our lovely mum, Maureen Ann Weston on January 23rd, 2025.
Maureen was born and raised in Southampton, England and moved to Canada with her family as a teenager. Maureen met the love of her life, Daniel Weston on a trip in Europe and they married and moved to Victoria, BC together, where they set down their roots. Maureen was predeceased by Daniel in 2018. Maureen loved children and became a pediatric nurse as well as a foster mother, looking after children in her home for over 40 years. Maureen loved traveling, pottering in the garden and doing cryptic crosswords, but above all else she loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered by her three children; Michelle (Cory), Patrick (Shelley) and Lisa (Chris); her eight grandchildren; Olivia, Maura, James, Emily, Noah, Mariah, Annika and Gabrielle, and her great-grandson Danny.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive on Friday, March 28th, 2025 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Mustard Seed would be greatly appreciated.
