Michael passed away peacefully at home in Victoria. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Lynette Rankin; children, Melissa Rankin, Ashley Rankin, Jessica Rankin, Joey Rankin, Rosemarie Fabre and Adam Sumbler; thirteen grandchildren; his four sisters, Susan, Leslie, Tracy, Donna, and one brother, Kelly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 17th at 10:00am in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive in Victoria, BC.
