Born on January 12, 1931 in Jasenice, Croatia, Dida Lola passed away peacefully on April 7, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. He was predeceased by his wife, Maria, in 2003 and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Pekrul. He is survived by his children, Ivan (Vesna), Rosa (Robb) Ridley, Suzana, Andy (Angela); grandchildren, Karla (Tomo) Kurevija, Steven, Blake and Mimi Ridley, Jesse, Luka; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Georgia; sisters, Katica, Ana, Milka and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Heights at Mt. View for the care and compassion provided to dad.
A Prayer Service will be held at St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, followed by entombment at Royal Oak Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Parish.
