Born in London, England Morris came to Canada at the age of nine months.  He grew up with his parents and siblings primarily in New Westminster, BC.

Predeceased by his father John, mother Wenda, sister Aldine and brother Loyd.  Survived by his beloved wife of almost 75 years Mary and daughter Arien.  Also survived by brother Ron (Hollis), sister Dianne (Don), many nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

Morris served in the Second World War as part of the Canadian Scottish Regiment.

As a young man he worked aboard the steamship Prince George, sailing the Alaska route many times.  Morris spent the bulk of his career working for the Economic Council of Canada and Conference Board of Canada.  Upon retiring he returned to the West Coast and continued pursuing his lifelong love of fishing, both saltwater and freshwater.

Over the years Morris enjoyed many camping and travel adventures around North America with Mary and Arien.  In later times he was especially proud of taking an Alaskan cruise to reminisce about his early career on the water, and in taking a 17-day Panama Canal cruise at the age of 90.

A Celebration of Life we will be held at a later date.

With us always.  Rest well.
