Born in Yorkshire on August 10, 1930. Mollie passed away quietly in her sleep on December 22, 2008 after a short illness. Mollie was an avid golfer, a great organizer and was very artistic, loving especially to do intricate needlework. Although she worked as a chemist in her youth, she spent the majority of her working career with CIBC. An avid traveler, Mollie spent much of her retirement exploring the world with Basil. A woman with a great love of life, a bottomless heart and boundless energy she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many she is survived by her husband of 56 years, Basil, her two daughters, Dawn and Diane and her eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her passing leaves a great void in all our lives. At her request, there will be no service. A remembrance tea will be held for all her friends in the spring. A sincere thank you to McCalls Funeral Home for their support at this difficult time.
