    Dear family of Betty,
I knew her from our USC Canada group. We always met at her house on FoulBay and then at the condo. Organizing sweaters to sell for fundraising. We always had lots of laughs, and Betty was such a positive, luminous, compassionate soul…we just really loved her.

Betty I will miss our weekly tuesday afternoon meditations and then with tea we reflected on our deep thoughts and got some giggles in there too for good measure ….we often shares about our childhood memories of growing up in Japan….it was a special friendship full of much appreciation for the human journey guided by divinity. She often spoke of her family with so much fondness…..my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Betty was such a bright light.

We have known Betty for many years through Self-Realization Fellowship. She was a wonderful person with a terrific sense of humour and the ability to share her stories of her life so enthusiastically. We will miss her very much.

We regret that we will be out-of-town and unable to attend her service but our thoughts and prayers will be with you. Gwen and Jim

  • Marina Emmond

George and I send our love and prayers to you at this sad time. Your Mom was such fun. I remember wallpapering their bedroom and a friend painted several rooms in the old house. Happy memories.
Since we have lived in Sidney many years now we lost contact.
Remembering Bruce and your trip to Prince George in the 80s.
Sorry I wont be able to attend the service and greet you all. Our sympathy. George and Marina Emmond.
