Born in Stanley, County Durham, England on March 23, 1920. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side in Victoria, BC on January 19, 2011. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Doreen; daughter, Sandra (Irwin) Carson; sons, Keith and Brian (Doreen) Wheatley; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and sister, Freda Peters of England.

We were very sorry to hear of Norm’s death but it sounds like you and Norm had a wonderful life together and you will have many happy and wonderful thoughts about the 67 years that you had together. Loretta and I still talk about the fun we had with you folks and the Bannisters when we were square dancing.
