Meadley – Olive (nee Dawson) died peacefully on November 2, 2008 in Victoria, B.C. She was born December 20, 1916 in Victoria, B.C.
Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Meadley in 1977, their infant daughter Diane in 1944, sister Joan East in 2006 and parents Edward Dawson and Selina (nee Willoughby).
Olive is survived by: her son Edward (Ted) and Maureen; daughter Maureen and Vince Dale; granddaughter Danielle Dale; brother-in-law Howard East; her special friends Jean and Ian McKain and family; Joan and Walter Phillips and family; Georgie and Mike Short and cousins in England.
She was a long time resident of Dean Heights and tended her garden, her family and friends with care and lots of love. She will be greatly missed.
A social gathering of family and friends will be held at McCall’s Bros. Family Centre, Johnson at Vancouver Streets, on Monday, November 10 at 2:00 pm.
