I had the pleasure of meeting Otto over 20 years ago. When Ernie asked me to help him move his parents, from their residence on Emily Carr Dr. to the beautiful home they built on Valewood Trail, this started a great friendship. Both Otto and Georgina immediately took me under their wings and made me feel like one of the family. Otto was always like a dad to me, providing me with sound fatherly advice on issues I was dealing with at the time and up to present. Over the years, every time I visited Victoria we would get together to enjoy Georgina’s awesome Hungarian dinners, Birthdays and holidays. We even travelled together to the Dominican Republic for a fun filled tropical family vacation. We also spent time together in Chicago cheering on Quinton’s hockey team. I will always have fond memories of Otto, his enduring friendship and his wise words of wisdom. He will be dearly missed by all who have been fortunate to know him.
    Love Jeff and Amy Palmer

    To all the family
I remember Otto so well when my family, the Daniel’s, first met and welcomed Otto, on his arrival to Victoria from Hungary as a young man. He was a person of many talents and worked so hard to bring his family to Canada and to build a wonderful life in his new country. I cherish the stories and memories of a life lived with courage and love.
Wishing you peace and comfort as you celebrate Otto’s life.
    Sincerely
    Pam Wilkinson

    Kedves Ottó!
Amikor utoljára találkoztunk vidám voltál és kiegyensúlyozott. Nyoma se volt a tavalyi rosszemlékű betegségednek, s ahogy korábban is mindíg, újból és újból fölidéztük az egykor volt újpesti helyeket, arcokat, eseményeket, a társaságból mindenki hozzátette a maga emlékét s bár nem együtt éltük át a történeteket, lassan minden olybá tűnt, mintha egy kölyökcsapat lettünk volna a Te vezetéseddel.
Amikor Kanadáról meséltél, Edittel irígykedve hallgattuk hol vidám, hol embertpróbáló történeteidet munkádról, leánykérésedről, gyermekeidről, unokáidról, jó és kevésbé jó barátaidról, hogy miként is lettél az; aki. Nekünk is hiányozni fogsz.
    Őszinte együttérzésünk az egész családnak!

    Dear Otto!
The last time we met you were cheerful and balanced. Trace one was last year’s notorious diseases are, and as previously always, recalled again and again to the once had Ujpest places, faces and events from the company all added their own memories and although we lived not together through the stories slowly all it appeared as if we would have been a team for the kid you vezetéseddel.
When you told me about Canada, where we listened to Edith irígykedve fun, challenging stories where your work, leánykérésedről, gyermekeidről, unokáidról, good and less good of your friends that is how you got in; who. We’ll miss you too.
Sincere sympathy to the whole family!
