Reading Pat’s obit brought tears to my heart. During the time I worked with you guys she brought sunshine to the day.

I send my condolences to the family. As a more recent artist in the Coast Collective, I had not met Patricia yet but had been admiring her work for several years. As soon as I saw her paintings, I realized she had a real talent and lovely way of celebrating the “ordinary”. I especially liked her landscapes and the trees. When I saw the obituary in the newspaper I was shocked and saddened that I had missed out on knowing her. We always think we have more time… I have been reading her old entries on her blog this morning. Thank you Patricia.

  • Dan Bergmann

I have always felt a close tie to cousin Patsy, even though she has been on the Island for so many years. Perhaps because we were born only 4 months apart, and spent a lot of time together as preschoolers in Greendale. My condolences and prayers go out to her family and loved ones. Our family is going to have a great reunion feast up in heaven together soon. Looking forward to seeing her again, and all the others in our family that The Lord has called home.

Life seems unfair when a wonderful person like Pat leaves before her time. Her smile and creative personality was always a pleasure to experience. My deepest condolences to the families and friends she has left behind. Be at peace Pat.
