Madeleine, we are so sorry to learn of Peter’s death. We loved spending time with you both. He was such a great guy, a lovely soul. You’re in our thoughts.

So sorry for all the family. Mr.Cranston was such a warm, gentle and accepting man, both interested and interesting. He had a unique and humourous “take” on people and events which we all appreciated so much and will be missed. I am so very grateful to Peter and Madeleine Cranston for raising such a wonderful family, my cherished friends. Love always Elin

  • John and Johanna Belton

Though we didn’t spend much time together, cousin Pete was a great
inspiration and gave me the drive to do what he did. I thought of him the day I checked out in the F-86 and I was always proud to tell the Canadian
pilots I met, and flew with, that Pete Cranston was my cousin, and I was
amazed at how many knew him and had flown with him.
Joanne and I cherish the memory of being with Pete at the Kirkwood
reunion in 1994 at Niagara Falls and we offer our deepest sympathy to
    Madeleine and his family.

  • Martha Pollak

I too have fond remembrances of being made welcome at the Cranston home when we were in our foolish teens. Mr. Cranston had a bemused acceptance us, Paul’s long-haired friends. My condolences to the whole Cranston family at this sad time.

  • Carolyn Fysh

Although I’ve sent a note in the mail, I wanted to pass along my condolences while all the family is together. I am thinking about each and every one of you and am sending all my love. I have a clear memory of Mr. Cranston as he was during my teenage years and as he was during my last visit when a gang of us high school buddies came for dinner in Victoria.
