Thank you everyone for your messages of condolence. The service was lovely and it was nice to see so many people I’ve not seen for some time. I wanted to apologize, and I meant to do this at the beginning of the eulogy which I gave, but forgot, I have neglected to include my Dad’s sister Lucy Clatworthy in the obituary. It has been so very many years since she passed and I was young then. Sorry again and love to all.

    Dear Linda and family

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Your dad was a good man with a big heart. I only got to visit with him when he would come to Calgary and the one time that I went to Cowichen Lake to visit. He was extremely proud of you and your children. I remember his last trip here after your stepmom passed away and you were making plans to move to Victoria to live with him, he was so pleased that you were finally going home and that he wouldn’t be alone. When I came to the island to visit you in your new home, I could see how happy he was, you should be very proud. Will be thinking of you on Tuesday, wish I could be there for you. My prayers are with you all.
