To paraphrase Mattie Ross from True Grit, I knew Sonia long ago. We too had lively times. We worked together at Clarkson Gordon & Co., Chartered Accountants for several years and had many good times together. I remember the day before her birthday, 1975 I think, we went to the Tally Ho to celebrate and the bouncer carded her as we entered. She gave him a big hug and kiss and thanked him very much. Even though we only saw each other a couple of times over the last 20 years I will miss her.

We remember fondly the times she spent with our daughter after we moved here. She also opened her home to us when we first came to Victoria in the middle of a huge snowstorm in 1981(?) She will be missed.

I met Sonia up at Green Mountain in the 60’s, we were friends for a long, long time, we went through all the ups and downs together, remembering all the ” good- times ” ! – disco dancing in high-heels and waiting for her to pick me up on a Friday nite so we could hit the weekend and * PARTY *— at all the clubs !!!!
Those were exciting and fun-times !!!

so sad she’s gone, we know ~ she’s at peace now ~
