passed away peacefully on Nov 13th, 2006. His remarkable life was guided by his love of family, faith, courage and duty. Born Feb 29th, 1920 in Ukraine, his adolescent and early adult life was marked by patriotic resistance to the many oppressive occupying regimes in Ukraine between 1935 and 1945.
