Passed away peacefully at Glengarry Hospital Sunday evening September 15th, 2013. She was born in Sherbrook, Quebec on July 17, 1922. Stella was one of 19 children and spent the first 20 years of her adult life as a nun learning and teaching. She left the convent to continue teaching both English and French as she was a master of both. As a proud Catholic she practiced and lived her faith to the end.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Holy Cross Catholic Church on Gordon Head Road at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20th, 2013. Interment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
