DAVIES, Susan Elaine
After a brief battle with pancreatic cancer, Susan passed away at the Victoria Hospice on May 5, 2008. A native Victorian born on September 11, 1951 she was predeceased by her parents.
Susan is lovingly remembered by her family: husband, Ken; daughters, Dawn Marie and Denisey (Kelly); grandchildren, John and Amanda; her siblings, Patsy (Kowalski), Don (Gaby), Margaret (John) and Bob (Bo-bo). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends.
Susan served with the Canadian Armed Forces serving with the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in the middle east. She loved a challenge in life and was always known for stepping up to the plate to help others in need. She will be always be remembered for her family loyalty and sense of humour.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets on Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
A celebration of Susan’s Life will be held at McCall Bros. Floral Chapel on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
