Our lives have been forever changed after the unexpected passing of our dearly loved best friend and partner, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, teammate and coach.
Todd was born in Victoria, BC on September 27, 1975. Todd is survived by his best friend and fiancé, Michelle Maloff; beloved daughter, Izzabella Sophia Novia Buchan; devoted mother Barbara Buchan; sister, Tammy Buchan-Grant (Dan); nephew, Brodie Harvey (Kresta); niece Mariah Grant; nephew, Kole Grant; many cousins, friends, teammates, his mother-in-law, Beverley Maloff and his dog, Shortbuss.
He was predeceased by his father, grandparents and friend.
Bucky had a lifelong passion for playing baseball and a new found passion for coaching baseball. One of his favourite pastimes was cheering for his hockey team, the Boston Bruins. He was a proud Canadian who loved Vancouver Island and was happy to call it home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at McCall’s Downtown, Johnson & Vancouver Streets at
10:00 am on Friday, January 8th, 2016.

It is very hard for me to recognize the man that people talk about in their messages as the young boy that used to run around Central Park. Sounds like you brought up a good son who made you proud. Well done.
I had the pleasure of being teammates with Todd on the Barts Men’s Fastball team at Macdonald Park. He always brought his A game to the park. Just like his Dad. He will be missed by many of us. To Barb, Michelle and Family, my thoughts are with you at this time.

My sincerest condolences for your loss Barb and Tammy. I have so many wonderful memories of Todd, we spent countless hours playing sports/games/making our own games. Your house Barb, was a second home to me. I remember Todd and I going curling with you and his dad,Todd and I sharing french fries. We were inseparable for those years. He is deeply missed by all who knew him.
