November 19, 1916 – November 10, 2011 Vera was born to Percy and Fanny Roberts. She was raised and educated in Ontario and in 1943 joined the RCAF. In 1944 Vera married Gordon Stephens. Most of their adult lives were lived in USA. Eventually Vera retired to Parksville and Sidney. She is survived by step-children Sandra (Harry) Gertz and Dianna (Jim Dumont) Lytwyn. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff, caregivers of Sidney Care Home and Dr. Prowse.
