My grandma, Freda Janz, went to nurses training in Victoria BC, Royal Jubilee Hospital. She was a roommate of Violet. Though my grandma died in 2010, it is only now I learn of Violet’s passing. I am glad my grandma had such a good friend as Violet.

Please accept my sympathy on your aunt’s death. I knew her from St. S. and was so impressed to see her emblazoned in her uniform for our Remembrance Day services. What a fine example she set. She will be missed, I am sure.
