Passed away quietly at home on March 31, 2006 in the caring arms of his loving wife of 25 years, Janie. Also at his side were his daughters, Terri (Rob) Poncelet and Kathy (Peter) Kilshaw. Corry had fought a valiant and dignified battle with cancer for over a year. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alena (John) Van der Haegen (Summerland, BC) and Kelly, Brad and Danny Kilshaw; niece, Lisa (Gary)Doucette and nephew, John Patterson (Penticton,BC); cousins, Grant (Linda) Wise and Bob (Phyllis) Wise (Summerland, BC). The family would like to thank the staff at the Cancer Clinic, Victoria Hospice Society and special thanks to Laurel. We also wish to express our thanks to friends and neighbours for their many kindnesses in the last year.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at SEQUOIA GARDENS MEMORIAL, 4665 Falaise Drive, on Friday, April 7, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to Victoria Hospice Society or the Victoria Cancer Clinic.
