Born May 16, 1917 and quietly left us on January 12, 2011. Predeceased by her husband Ed in 1999. Win is survived by sons, Glenn (Louise) ,Wayne (Marion); sister, Phyllis; grandchildren, Tina, Robin, Jordan and Bronwyn; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jesse, Montana and Tiffany; nieces; nephews; friends and their families. Win enjoyed life raising her boys, working part-time, square dancing with friends, sewing, knitting and crafting. Win and Ed enjoyed many trips together. In later years there were tea parties and road hockey with the grandchildren who adored her enthusiasm. When her great-grandchildren came along, Winnifred just loved being in their company. A special thank you to long times friends, Kay Deacon and Jean and Horace Lindsey for your love and support. We wish to extend our gratitude to Mount Edwards Court for caring for mom over the past few years.
There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MS Society or charity of choice.
