October 29, 1929 – November 10, 2011

In this time of deep sorrow, we announce with regret the passing of our beloved husband, father, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather who passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 10, 2011 surrounded by his loving family while holding the hand of his wife of 54 years.

Winston was predeceased by his parents, three brothers and his daughter, Marilyn. Winston was the loving husband of Daisy, beloved father of Catherine (Laurie), Clayton (Janet), Raymond (Morgan) and Brenda (Shawn). He was the proud grandfather of eight and great grandfather of three.

Winston worked for the City of Victoria for 32 years.

There will be a visitation held for Dad on Sunday, November 13th at McCall Bros., Johnson and Vancouver Streets, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A celebration in honour of Winston’s life will be held at the Colwood Pentecostal Church, 2250 Sooke Road, on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens. Following the interment, everyone is invited back to the church for tea.

We would like to say a special thank you to the nursing staff at the RJH Renal Care Unit and all the doctors for the exceptional care which Dad had received for the last two and a half years and to the nursing staff on 4 South for the compassion and care shown to our husband, father and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.
