THOM, Yow On -October 1, 1929- June 28, 2010. On June 28, 2010, Yow On passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital with family by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, 5 children and their spouses, 11 grandchildren, his brother, sister in-law and 4 nephews. Yow On was born in Hoy Ping, China and came to Canada in 1952. He worked at the Honeymoon Bay Sawmill from 1954 to 1972. During this time he also owned a small tailor shop. From 1972 to his retirement in 1992, Yow On operated a men’s wear/tailoring store in Duncan, Henry the Tailor. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 3rd, 1 p.m. at McCall Bros. Funeral Home, 1400 Vancouver Street, Victoria, B.C. 594866
