Dear Jude, (Jim, Cam and Mac)
It seems like only weeks ago you e-mailed me Jude … I just opened Jill’s e-mail to read about the loss of your son. My daughter, Alyson, was born the same year. I remember Scott once when we were at the lake visiting with Jill and Evan – an active and happy little boy full of life having much fun on the water. I am so very, very sad for your loss. Take much care, Deb

For Judie, Jim, Mac and Cam,
Scott is always on my mind, I miss him every day, I love him, I am so proud to be his Auntie Jane, and he will always be in our family’s hearts.
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle Autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
I am the joy of a gut laugh from way down deep,
I am the stealth of a cheetah’s creep.
I am the soft embrace of a cozie hoodie,
I am the love of a headlock and noogie.
I am the power of a lion’s roar,
And I am the thrill of a perfectly timed goal.
I am the music of a piano played,
I am the spirit of a surfer’s wave.
For I am the gentle mist rising from Shawnigan Lake,
I am the sparkle in a trickster’s eye.
And I am the freedom and the forever of the widest sky.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die.
Mary Elizabeth Frye and Auntie Jane
Love you forever Scotty

Dear Judie, Jim, Mac, and Camille,
My connection with Scott was very important to me. I knew a kind, considerate, and charismatic boy: a gem.
It is difficult to accept that is no longer on this planet.
Fortunately, I firmly believe that this earth is not all there is – otherwise I would be very sad: in fact, I know that not only does Scott’s spirit remain in our midst (all of those who knew him, loved him), we will see him again; we will be with him sooner than we think.
Don’t be sad! He wouldn’t like to see us that way.
I think of him with the big smile (he often displayed) on my face.
See you soon, my dear.
Roxana and family
I am so sorry for your loss, my heart breaks for you all. I am thankful that I was able to meet Scotty, he was such a happy young man and I will not forget him.
