Susan and I became really good friends over the last year. We did yoga at Beaver Lake Park in the spring and summer, walked around Cedar Hill Golf course or Broadmead with my dog. We would go to the pet store and buy treats and toys for my dog and her kitten Ash, almost weekly. The last time I spoke to her was the 24th of November; she told me she had final exams and a project due and wouldn’t be around for 3 weeks. I sent messages to her in December but ultimately thought she was so swamped with school she would get back to me later. I found out a few weeks ago what happened and my heart broke. She was such a kind and beautiful soul. A deep thinker, a compassionate soul, so funny, beautiful inside and out. I miss her terribly. My condolences to her family who she loved so much. She always spoke of Vanessa. She felt so supported by her parents. One of her last messages to me was that she could hear Vanessa giggling at something on TV and it was making her smile. She said it warmed her heart so much hearing it she wished she could bottle it up. Rest easy Susan. Thank you for being such a good friend to me. We went on a discovery journey together last year that bonded us forever. I will never forget you.
Dear Keith and Margaret:
Ken was away for a time period in December and only now have we become aware about Susan. We were so sorry to learn of your great loss and our hearts go out to you. We can’t even imagine the unfathomable pain you must be suffering and we want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

I will always remember Sue as a beautiful bright light – beauty on the inside and out. Her smile would literally light up a room.
May your memories bring you peace and comfort as you grieve the sudden departure of her presence in your lives.
My heart holds space for your entire family at this very difficult time.
Marnie
