August 16, 1967 - November 27, 2021

Susan passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from natural causes on November 27, 2021. The loss of Susan is felt profoundly by her daughter Vanessa, parents Margaret and Keith, sisters Sian and Jill, brother-in-law Neil, nephew Lauchlin, as well as extended family in Wales and long-time friends throughout Canada, U.S.A and Mexico.

Susan was born in Toronto in 1967, attended school in Thunder Bay and Victoria graduating from Mount Douglas High School in 1985. She subsequently completed a Diploma Course in Early Childhood Education at George Brown College in Toronto and then received a Bachelor degree in Physical Education from U.B.C., during which time she took a sabbatical year in Japan. Her natural beauty led to a number of modeling contracts in her youth. She enjoyed an active lifestyle with skiing, swimming, golfing, gym activities and so much more.

Susan worked in the fields of Early Childhood Education administration and developed business in Personal Training in Canada and Mexico, developing enduring friendships along the way.  She lived and worked in Mexico for 7 Years. She was devoted to her daughter Vanessa and always showed a special ability to relate to young children and animals. The loss of her caring and loving personality leaves a large void in our hearts and lives.

There will be a private funeral and arrangements will be made for a Remembrance Ceremony in Kitsilano at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island https://support.islandkidsfirst.com/site/Donation2  or Bridges for Women https://www.bridgesforwomen.ca/donate/
