  1. It was so sad to hear of Guy’s passing. Although it had been many years since I had seen him and Holly-Anne, the news of his death was very painful. But so many memories to cherish–good times in residence at the University of Victoria, a trip to Seattle, even a visit in Trail, BC. Guy was a remarkable person. Always sincere, honest, and conscientious. He took good care of those he loved, and everyone around him. A great athlete. A great friend. And above all a loving husband and father. God bless you Holly-Anne, Lauralyn, Max, and Tyler. And God bless you Guy.

  2. Oh, Holly-Anne, Lauralyn and Tyler. I just read this sad news. What a sad journey and great loss for you all. I’m sure Kellie and Guy will have lots of time now to ‘catch up’ together in heaven. Take one minute, one task, at a time and grieve well.

  3. So sorry to hear about Guy passing! We always remembered his and Holly Anne’s friendliness during Tyler’s time in high diving with our daughter Rachel. Our condolences go out to Holly Anne and Tyler during these difficult times.

  4. Karen and I are very saddened to hear of Guy’s passing. Greg had informed us of the news. Our sincere condolences to you Holly-Anne, Lauralynn (Lsquared) and Tyler. Words seem so inadequate, but know that Guy was very much loved and respected. He was the elder statesman of our class. Recalling many memories of Guy during our years in Optometry School with every memory ending with a smile on my face and/or a chuckle. Especially remembering the times Guy, Liz, Greg & I spent together studying for the comprehensive exams. Guy was a remarkable man.

  5. I am deeply saddened by the passing of Uncle Guy. As I am unable to attend the funeral, please know that my thoughts are with you and the entire family during this incredibly difficult time. Uncle Guy was a wonderful person, and I will always cherish the memories of summers spent with you all and all the visits in between. I hope there is comfort in the love and support surrounding you today.

  6. Holly-Anne, Lauralyn and Tyler I am so sorry to hear that Guy has passed. My heartfelt condolences I send to you with gratitude to have shared so many years in the practice as part of “Family Eyecare”. Guy was so dedicated to his staff, his patients, and everyday injected us all with kindness, laughter and true caring. He helped and truly cared about his patients.
The absence of Guy’s presence in our world will be felt hugely. He was such a bright light for all whose lives he touched. May your memories help cushion you through this sad time and faith in the Lord guide you and give you strength. Love Anita
