My deepest condolences to his family, particularly my Tante Fietje (my mother’s sister) and his three sons and families. Oom Paul was my beloved uncle and brother to my father (Jurre) who I spent many good times with over the course of his lifetime. From fishing and camping when his sons and my sisters and brother were youngsters, to many cruises with him and Tante Fietje with Holland America. If you couldn’t find him, you just needed to head up to the crows nest. He was always there. I wish you many more happy sailings scouting from your crows nest Oom Paul. I’ll love you forever.
