Shirley passed away on December 30, 2022 in Victoria, BC. Predeceased by her husbands Billy and Rod and her son Gary, Shirley is survived by her daughter Gail (Ron), her 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister Joyce and daughter-in-law Colleen.

Mom lived a very full and active life and she loved to travel. She was full of spunk and determination; she had a great sense of humour and she was incredibly proud of her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, many whom she met in her later years at Amica on the Gorge.

No service will be held at mom’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Agency. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallgardens.com

I wish to send my sincere condolences on the death of Shirley. I was both sorry and sad to hear of it. Shirley always had a smile for everyone and was especially welcoming to new residents at Amica. Three of us had breakfast together every morning and her morning chatter is missed. I regret that I cannot tell her that I had a buddy burger last week and enjoyed it. She always enjoyed her buddy burger and ice cream.
With happy memories of Shirley, and I hope it wont be long before you can look back and have a laugh at the happy times.
