Adriana passed away in Victoria BC on 23 September 2021 due to colon cancer. She was born in Sumatra, Indonesia on 24 July 1934. She has joined her late husband Ulrich E. Blank, and her extended family in the Netherlands.
She will be sorely missed by her daughters Irene and Renata, sons-in-law Ian and Dean, her grandchildren Natasha, Mikayla, and Samantha as well as extended family and friends. Adriana loved all her family deeply. She grew up in Indonesia during WWII and subsequently travelled to the Netherlands with her mother and 2 younger brothers Herman and Yope in October 1946. After years of going to school and working in the Netherlands, she bravely travelled to Canada in 1962 on her own where she met her future husband Ulrich in Vancouver, BC. In 1977, their family moved to Oliver BC where Adrie had very fond memories of close friends. We will all miss her laugh, wit and smile.

Funeral service to be held at Gateway Baptist Church, Victoria, BC on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 4:30 pm.
