In September of 2015, our mother, Aem Suebsee, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer. She was told she may have anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to live. As many people witnessed, she did not give in easily and was not deterred by the challenge. Like a true warrior, she accepted her fate and resigned herself to try and spend every day possible at home with her family and close friends, rather than give in and stay in a hospital. She is a fighter. A true Thai lady.
Never once did she show weakness, sorrow or pity for her situation. She is a winner. The cancer had no chance against her positive outlook in life and kindness. After an extremely challenging six month battle, our beloved mother departed this world on March 1st at approximately 2:10pm. She left in peace with no sign of suffering or pain. We were by her side to send her off on her new journey.
To our family, this is both a sad and joyous occasion. We will miss our beloved mother dearly. We will think of her everyday and cherish all memories of her. On a different note, we are relieved that our father and mother are finally together once again. Mom was an inspiration to us all and will continue to be so in her absence.
Please join us in making this a memorable re-birthday and wishing her all the best on her new journey.
A Funeral Service will be held at McCall’s Downtown, Johnson and Vancouver Streets, on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 2:00pm with a reception to follow.
