One of our fondest memories of Al was rowing the Queen of Foul Bay down Shawnigan Lake with his dog right beside him. He was always such a gentleman and we will miss his presence at the lake. We will all raise a glass of wine in Al’s honor this summer on the dock at one of our neighborhood nights.

I will miss Al. He was a great friend. I will remember all the hockey games and his great love of music. I loved his book and will cherish reading it again.

    Don, Adam and Corine,

It’s sad to think Al and the Queen of Foul Bay are gone forever from Shawnigan Lake. Al was always such a friendly and down to earth guy and we’ll miss seeing him. We’re sure he would be happy knowing his family continues to enjoy the cottage he bought 25 years ago. Our condolences to the Wilson family from all of us.

Jim, Karen, Catherine and Stephen Nicholl
