Albert Dat Wai Low passed away suddenly on March 5, 2018, while on a cruise in South America with his wife Judy and many friends.  Albert was born in Victoria on May 11, 1960, and graduated from Vic High.  He was a successful businessman who lived and built his career in Victoria, Hazelton, Smithers and ultimately Calgary where he established ADW Surveying and Mapping Ltd.

Albert is survived by his wife Judy, son Eric, daughters Jessica and Brittany, father Ben Bing Fai, brothers Alan (Margaret) and Bill (Katherine), and sisters Susan (Tim) and Fong Chee (Kong).  He was predeceased by his mother Phyllis Quai Tim in 2005.

Albert enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.  In the past 3 years, Albert and Judy travelled to Asia and Europe with their friends. Albert left an impression on everyone that he met.  He will be dearly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive in Victoria, BC on Saturday, March 24th, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Burial to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park.

    We knew Albert through the Calgary Hook & Hackle Club. He was a happy and generous member and always had something humorous and entertaining to say.
    He was a friend to all and will be very missed.

  6. We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our friend, Albert. We first met Albert and Judy at the Peru trip in 2015, and have subsequently travelled with them a few more times. Albert and Judy were always very easy going; happy to go along to wherever we took them. Albert was always smiling, laughing and making jokes. We will miss his goofiness and hearty laughter!

One thing for certain the work we did as a team was always done on time and completed with out error. He will be deeply missed by the Langdon Family and the staff of Calgary Aggregate Recycling.

  10. So very sorry for the family and to hear this extremely sad news. We knew Albert through our condo association meetings. He definitely added a spark and a laugh at our meetings. Such a likeable and respectful person. He will be missed.
