Douglas Henderson I was saddened to learn of Allen’s passing. I met Allen when I was a volunteer and later the Registrar at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. Allen very kindly hired a friend of mine as the janitor for the Gallery. This man had no experience but Allen believed in him and hired him immediately. I was happy that my friend now had a paying job in the West for he was the first Tibetan teacher to come to Victoria and teach from my home. Allen made this possible. Thank you, Allen!

John Van Dyke Had a wonderful time with Al during his time in Ingersoll. He had a very easy laugh. Sorry to hear that he is no longer with us. Lost track of him somewhere along the way. Many good memories.

Sharon and John Cooper So sorry to hear this. We met and visited with Allen many years ago while on a trip to see Georgina, our former next door neighbor and good friend in Washington state. He was so personable…and had a great sense of humor. We had a standing joke about purple napkins that carried on for years. He knew how to live a good life, and he and Georgina complimented each other perfectly. Our thoughts and prayers are being sent to Georgina, Joanna, and all who loved him or knew him as a friend.

Dear Georgina, Joanna and Loved Ones:
We were very sorry to hear of the passing of Allen. We have really fond memories of Allen at Rag and Barb’s house … whether it was at Christmas time, Spencer’s birthdays, Clayton’s birthdays or other special celebrations. Allen always presented himself so handsomely and was truly a classy gentleman. He had a pleasant personality. He was a very distinguished man. He was a good man.
We share your grief at this very difficult time. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Love Always,
Manjeet and Parm Ghag
