Anne was born in the Netherlands on August 2, 1920 and went to live with her Lord on June 16, 2013. She leaves behind her four sons; Albert (Gail), Reyn, Peter (Gail), Bill (Kathy); eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Jack in 2006.
A celebration of her life will be held in the regular 10:00 AM service of the Victoria Christian Reformed Church, 661 Agnes Street, on Sunday June 23rd, with a reception to follow at Sequoia Gardens Memorial, 4665 Falaise Drive, from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made through Relief Committee or Mustard Seed Church in Victoria. The family wishes to thank Anne’s friends and care givers for their wonderful support which will always be remembered. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Please accept my condolences with Anne’s passing. I met your mother only a few years ago. I so enjoyed my visits with her. She was intelligent and had a good sense of humor. That really helps as we age, I think. The saying “It’s a small world” is true.. We discovered both came from Edmonton, and that we knew many of the same people.
She was very proud of her sons and whenever one of you came to visit, she would announce this with a big smile. She bore her physical issues with grace and acceptance that a better place was waiting for her. I will miss her spirit and our visits.love, Alida Eerkes Thorpe

Toni Yurkewich My thoughts are with you on the loss of your Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
We (Carole, Peter, jack, Ron) have a lot of good memories with your parents. We spent a lot of happy times with both Jack and Anne in Jasper fishing and spending time together there and in Wabamun.
Ian and I send our condolences. We have good memories of your mother when we got together for lunches and visits with her in Victoria.
