Passed away on September 22nd , 2026, in Victoria, British Columbia. Felicia will be deeply missed by her husband, Douglas; her son, Paul (Amanda and grandchildren, Mackenzie and Rowan) and her daughter, Brenda.
Born on March 20, 1938, in London, England, Felicia was the daughter of Dr. (Stanley) and Mrs. (Gwendolyn) Thorley. Following in the footsteps of her grandmother and mother, she studied nursing at The Royal Free Hospital in London and became a registered nurse. She dedicated her working career to caring for patients in England (Kingston, Carshalton, Tottenham and Sutton), Bermuda, Alberta (Calgary and Red Deer), and British Columbia (Nanaimo).
Felicia and Doug moved to Victoria in 2022 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. In retirement, her loving and nurturing nature extended to four-footed companions, and she enjoyed caring for dogs, cats and ferrets. She also loved gardening, travelling, social dancing—including line dancing and ballroom—and playing bridge at the Lake Hill Bridge Club and Monterey Recreation Centre. She volunteered at Thrifty Foods through Sendial.
She will be remembered with love and missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace, Mum.
