    Myrne,
Doreen just phoned to tell me of your mother passing. I was sorry to hear of her passing
I did not know her well but through the years, I have fond memories of her. Especially when Grandmother Townsend was living at the home of your mother and dad.
The last time I was in Victoria and Doreen and I were able to have lunch with you and Nan, was a good memory of our visit.
    Love,
    Bobby.

We hold very special memories of your
    beloved Nan

  • Jane Gregory

My dad, Grant Brewster, was a cousin of Nan’s. He introduced me to her in 1999 at her Oak Bay apartment. After meeting her I wished I had known her sooner. She did phone me a few times, she was a very interesting, warm person. Hold your memories close to you. Thinking of you, Jane.

Kind regards to Myrne, also to Paul & Muriel.
I worked with Bert for years; he took me to First United, now First/Met. We attended each other’s retirements.

Nan was a lovely lady who loved life. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a way of turning everything into something to laugh at. She was a delight to be around and I truly enjoyed the times that I got to visit her. She will be missed but her daughter will carry on with the same zeal for life and laughter and caring of others. Maureen

Myrne and Daryl: Judith and I were very sorry to learn of Auntie Nan’s passing when Betty told us on Monday. I have very fond memories of your Mom as a wonderful, warm and gracious woman. She was a beloved member of the Beere/Howell extended family, and such an important part of our big family gatherings at First United and elsewhere. I’ll be seeing my Mom and Dad this weekend in Comox and I know your Mom will be a part of our conversation. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you say goodbye to her. Love and best wishes, Steve Howell.
