Ante passed away peacefully after a stroke. He is survived by his wife, Ana and his 5 children: Vesna, Tomas, Janja, Maria, Ivan and his 7 grandchildren: Vienna, Tatiana, Bianka, Oliver, Niko, Mila and Luka.
His parents were Janja and Matan Goluža who had 8 children: Boško, Vide, Duka, Ante, Stojan, Martin, Luka and Danica. He was born in Pješivac, Hercegovina. He moved to Canada and raised his family in Victoria. BC.
He had a good sense of humour. He enjoyed animals, nature and walking for miles. He reminisced about all the houses and buildings he made throughout his time as a skilled carpenter. “Forget me” will never be forgotten.
A Funeral will be held on March 29, 2021 at the St. Leopold Mandič Croatian Church. The burial will be held at Royal Oak Burial Cemetery. (As per Covid restrictions: up to 50 people at burial) Condolences may be offered to the family below.
