Born on December 16, 1928 in Ponta Garca, Azores, Portugal. Passed away on April 30, 2013 in Victoria, BC. Predeceased by his son, Luiz. Lovingly remembered by his wife, Maria of 56 years; his sons, Carlos, Alfredo (Doratina), Antonio, daughter-in-law, Eugenia; grandson, Antonio Carlos and his sister, Alice De Lima, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Prayers will be offered at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4635 Elk Lake Drive on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, #101 – 1537 Hillside Avenue, Victoria, BC, V8T 4Y2.
