After a brief illness, Arthur passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital on April 15, 2012. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Elizabeth Erdman; brothers, Adelor, James,Edward, Clyde, Henry, Ted and Frank; sisters, Elizabeth Ethier and Irene Engen, he is remembered by his sister, Cecile Smith; brother, Ken (Mary) Erdman of Prince Albert, SK; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special friends, Bonnie and Jim who helped when family wasn’t available.
Arthur was born in Prince Albert, SK where he spent his early years, then moved to Victoria where he spent the remainder of his life. He always had a special place in his heart for young children and was proud to have sponsored a foster child.
A celebration of his life will be celebrated at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Research.
