To Alana, Mark, Kelly and Family,
Thinking about all of you at this very sad time.

It is very hard to believe that someone with such a wonderful amount of positive energy is gone. I will never forget his debut as ‘Naramata Jones’ at a Leadership Training for Volunteers course in the mid ’80’s. Rest in peace, Art. Linda Cross
We were shocked and saddened to read of Art’s unexpected death on Sept 1st. Having had business dealings with Art while we owned Travelworld plus being a neighbour on St. Ann Street for many, many years we will miss his wave and hellos as we walk by.
Our sympathy to Alana and family.

Dear Alana, Ben and The Rest of The Family.
Art, Alana, Ben and I go all the way back to Soccertron in the late Seventies and early Eighties. I will sorely miss “Arthur” and his big smile and talking about our kids and sports.
We are so very sad and sorry for you all and if there’s anything we can do for you, please call or email.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of your loss.

Dear Alana,
I am deeply sorry for your loss and I am sending all my love. I got to know Art through his many cheerful visits to Chris’ salon and then we bonded over our love of Paris. We exchanged many Paris emails when Art was planning your Paris trip and his enthusiasm and insatiable quest for the ‘best of’ everything was infectious. Chris and I still have to try some of the restaurants he suggested!
Alana, you have been such a wonderful friend and support to Chris and I over the years. Even though distance prevents me from being there, please know you are in my thoughts. We are both here for you and I am sorry we won’t be there next Saturday to lend support and tell you in person how much we love you and we loved Art.
My sympathies to you and your family.
Love,
Erin

Alana and boys – so sorry to read of Art’s sudden passing. I will always remember Art with fondness. Love to you all.
I knew Art through Cursillo, a Christian community which holds annual weekend gatherings. Art was involved with several of those and was always a welcome addition. He was warm, graceful, and gentle, and interested in others. Given his profession, it was no surprise that he spoke so well and often with passion. I hadn’t seen him in a few years but the memories I have of him will endure. Sympathies to his family and friends.
Art will be missed but his contribution and friendship lives on.
