We are shocked and devastated to announce the unexpected passing of our beautiful and extraordinary daughter; Ashley, at the age of 24.
Ashley will forever be lovingly remembered and endlessly missed by her parents Brigette & Michael Henning, brothers Caleb & Jesse, sisters Angelica, Brittany, & Celine. Grandparents Bonnie (Frank) Donnelly, Bill (Neva) de Bruyn, Valarie (Camille) Turgeon. Gigi Helen Bowden, Uncle Ski, her loving boyfriend Dave, fur babies Poncho & Rampage, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and many, many friends.
Ashley followed her dreams and achieved a double degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. We were all so proud when she graduated with honors. She will always be remembered for her infectious laughter, amazing sense of style, endless concern for others, and her beautifully stunning smile.
Ashley was born and raised in Victoria and will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. “You will always live on through the fond memories of all your friends and family. We are all so blessed to have had the time we did with you.”
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA.
A Celebration of Ashley’s Life will be held at McCall’s Floral Chapel, Johnson at Vancouver Streets on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1:00 pm.

We can’t imagine the loss of your wonderful daughter Ashley. Many of us have children and some are expecting them. All we can do is offer our support and love at this time. Your friends and co. workers at RJH ER. We wish you comfort in family and healing with time.
I have so many sweet memories of our kids growing up together…. hikes in the woods with the dogs, dancing, singing… enjoying life. There really are no words to express my feelings — My thoughts are with you all. RiP Ashley

Where to start.. From middle school to present, western speedway, grad night, all the crazy times.. I am going to miss you so much girl.. I honestly am having a hard time putting this grief into words, there are none.. Love you forever, miss you for always..
Since the first day we met, me and Ashley were inseparable. She was my best friend and a truly loving girlfriend. She would always brighten my day and filled my life with love and joy. She was one of a kind and I don’t if I’ll ever meet someone quite like her again. I hope you are watching over us all in heaven because I will become a stronger man through this. I will never forget everything you taught me in life and will always cherish the time we spent together, as it was the best time in my life.

I knew Ashley since she was born. Her mom and my cousin are best friends I love you Bridgette. I am so sorry for your loss. rip Ashley. You are truly missed.
Ashley was a part of my life from a day I can’t even remember, very young. We were great friends for years after through elementry, and a bit of high school, after going our separate ways Ashley was one person I could never forget. Seeing her a week prior to this is a huge shock to me. My love goes out to her and the family. You will be missed and your memory will go on. I cherish the times we had. Love Damian.
