1938 – 2010
Kalyniuk, Audrey (nee Marchak) passed away peacefully at her home in Saanichton, BC on June 25, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 14, 1938 in Teulon, Manitoba. Predeceased by her husband, Henry in 2003; Audrey is survived by her children, Todd (Carmen) and Glenn (Nicole); her grandchildren, Tomas and Toria; and her sister Carol (Thomas) Jablonski. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Audrey and Henry were married in Winnipeg and raised their family while living in Winnipeg, Dauphin, Regina and Burlington. In retirement, Audrey and Henry lived in Regina. Audrey was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest pleasures were spending time with her family, decorating and gardening.
A memorial service for Audrey will be held at Sequoia Gardens Memorial, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Father Rolf Hasenack OP officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Cancer Agency, 2410 Lee Avenue, Victoria, BC, V8R 6V5 or at www.bccancerfoundation.com

Maggie Morris To Todd and Glenn and your families….my sincere sympathy in the loss of your wonderful Mom and Nani. She was such a good friend and neighbor, and as I look around my home, I see so many of her great decorating skills that she shared so willingly.
Tomas and Toria…I remember how very excited she would be when you came to visit and have your sleepovers. I remember how much fun she had playing with you both in her back yard, and how I could hear your Nani laughing so hard with you, all the way over to my house. You made her so happy, and I think she made you happy as well. What a nice way to remember her.

Pat Meadows My condolences to Todd, Carmen and Family. Audrey will be greatly missed by her extended family. I know Audrey really apreciated all the assistance from her son Todd and daughter in-law Carmen for ongoing support and with the move to her Saanicton residence. Having grandchildren and family close was a real blessing for Audrey. Memories and the spirit of those we love are always close.
While it has taken too long to acknowledge, I would like to add my cousins Deborah Jablonski-Armstrong and Brent Jablonski to the list of surviving relatives. Debby was a great comfort to Audrey during her illness and spent many hours on the phone with Audrey providing support.
