Barb passed away quietly at home in Victoria, BC on November 2, 2015.  Barb (Babs) Mom, was born in Kamloops on January 22, 1927, growing up in Prince Rupert, Nelson and Victoria. She trained as a Nurse at the RJH where she met her future husband, James Roy Crawford on February 7, 1949.  When Roy developed polio, Barb went back to work with the BC Forest Service, where she had a long and productive career. Finishing in 1979, both Roy and Barb settled into retirement happily. They were avid travellers, seeing much of Canada and the USA by car. Barb had such a zest for life and a huge sense of humour. She had many long-time friends and loved to entertain, play bridge and ‘do lunch’.  She enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up immensely. In her later years, she travelled to many adventurous places cruising, which she said is the way to Travel! She will be missed by all who knew her over her full and happy life. Barb was predeceased in 1999 by her husband of 50 years. She leaves to mourn her two children, Michael (Bernie) Crawford and Judy Passos (Crawford), as well as four grandchildren, Elizabeth (Scott) Wynn and Stuart Crawford and Sarah and Michael Passos. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Margaret Lalonde; nieces and nephews, Bill (RIP), Dennis, Gord, Karen, Lorraine, Sherry, Caroline and Cathy and her nieces and nephew from her birth mother, Bill, Maureen, Barb and Kathleen.

We miss you already dearest Mom and Granny.
PS. I love you back, mama
