It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara on November 7, 2022.
Barb (as she was affectionately called by friends & family) was born on December 24, 1930 in Victoria, BC and is predeceased by her parents, Norman & Anne Maynard and daughter, Laurie Ann Lees (nee Grealy). She is survived by her sons, Mark, Paul (Laura), Brent, Ryan (Janine), Glenn (Linda); grandchildren Melissa (Chris), Katelyn (Rob), Kyle (Isabel), Jordan, Kahlina (Jan), Braeden, Megan; great-grandchildren Soul, Lilian, Charlotte, Presley.
Thank you to all the palliative care nurses & staff. A very special Thank You to Dr. Susan Mathews for her kindness & caring service shown to our Mom.
At Barbara’s request, there will be no service held.
However, Mom loved a nice cup of tea, baking cookies & reading, so in lieu of flowers/cards please have a nice cup of tea in her memory and consider giving the gift of literacy by donating to www.1000×5.ca
