Sharon, you may not remember me, but I met you and Bernie through Suzanne over 20 yrs ago. Suzanne & I were friends and co-workers. I enjoyed the short time that I did get to spend with you guys and was very saddened to hear of Bernie’s passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take Care, Janice

It’s with great sadness that I heard about Bernie’s passing. Although we lost touch, as many do over the years I still have very fond memories of our childhood hikes in the woods, snowshoeing, fishing, building tree houses or just riding our bikes around the neighborhood. Theses are memories I’ll always cherish. Bernie was a great guy and friend. To Sharon, Calvin, Emily and all the Cormier family my deepest and sincere sympathies. He will never be forgotten.

It has been many, many years since I have seen you guys and never forgot about the great person Bernie was as well as yourself,Sharon. I still have the wooden plane he made me for Christmas one year,it sits on top of my tv and reminds me of the great neighbor’s you guys were. I never forgot about you guys and i never will. My thoughts are with you and may Bernie rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to Sharon, Calvin and Emily, and to the Cormier’s. I knew Bernie through 2 connections. My wife, Taryn, is Sharon’s cousin, and I knew Bernie’s brother Robert through the Teen Encounter program back east. Although I didn’t know Bernie well, I felt a connection whenever we did get together. He was such a warm and accepting guy. I’ll always remember the great time we had together in Edmonton when Sharon and Bernie visited Taryn and I in Edmonton. Very sorry for your loss.
