Beverly Koffel

In Loving Memory of Beverly Koffel

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bev, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, at the age of 80.

Bev was known and loved by many throughout her life, but perhaps nowhere more so than at the Deep Cove Chalet restaurant she proudly presided over for many decades.

Together with Pierre, she helped create not only an exceptional dining destination, but also a place where guests felt genuinely welcomed, valued, and cared for. Her warmth, elegance, and gift for hospitality became the heart and soul of the Chalet.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Bev was a woman of extraordinary kindness and generosity. She possessed a rare ability to make everyone feel like family. Whether through a thoughtful gesture, a listening ear, a warm smile, or quiet acts of service, she enriched countless lives.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in the countless memories she created and the enduring impact she made on all who knew her. Her grace, generosity, and unwavering spirit will live on in the lives she touched.

She leaves behind her beloved husband Pierre, her children Carson and Krista and her grandchildren who she loved dearly. Her siblings, extended family, and a wide circle of dear friends will miss her deeply; as will her loyal companion Victor.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who shared in Bev’s life and friendship over the years. Her memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Deep Cove Chalet, 11190 Chalet Road, North Saanich, BC, on Sunday, October 18th, 2026, from 12:00 – 5:00pm.

Condolences may be offered to the family below.
