Brian James Hunt passed on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, BC.
Brian was born on May 28, 1945, at 7:30 pm at Resthaven Hospital in Sidney, BC. He was adopted at birth by Lily and Frank Hunt of Sidney.
Brian grew up in Sidney, helping his dad Frank in his gas station as a mechanic. In 1968, he left Sidney to serve as a mechanic for the BC Forest Service. He worked on and maintained heavy equipment used to clear land for the Peace River Dam.
In 1969, Brian was transferred to the main Forest Service maintenance shop in Vancouver, where he remained until he received another transfer to Nanaimo to manage the entire heavy equipment fleet on Vancouver Island.
In 1984, he left the BC Forest Service and moved to Victoria to take a formal Real Estate Course. On passing the course, he served as a realtor in the Victoria Region.
On his retirement, Brian moved to White Rock, giving him broader access to discover new routes on his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle.
