PETRUNIA Brian R. – Suddenly on August 11, 2009 in Victoria, at the age of 67 years. Born on June 21, 1942 in Lethbridge, Alberta, he is fondly remembered by his family, Kurt (Rachel) and their children, Owen, Joshua and Bethune, Jason (Sarah) and their daughter, Lilly. A Memorial Reception will be held in MCCALL BROS. FAMILY CENTRE, Johnson and Vancouver Streets, on Tuesday, August, 18th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Victoria Hospice would be appreciated.

John and Lois Cicman Brian and I were buddies from grade 1, played on various sport teams(Basketball, softball and high school football and graduated together. Even though we went our separate ways after Grad, we always kept in touch and visited each other whenever the opportunity arose. Lois and I will miss our visits with him.
To you Kurt, Jason and families we share in your sorrow. May the good Lord give you strength at this time.

Stan and I are so pleased we saw Brian in Canada just a year ago, with Kurt and Rachel. That was a memorable evening dinner at a local restaurant with great conversation – an occasion to remember him by.
