James Garroni Our sincerest condolences and thoughts go to the whole family. We only had one occasion to meet Jack, at the wedding of his grandson James to our daughter Alexandra. However, the one meeting was enough to tell he was a good man with great character.

I am fortunate to have come to know Jack over the past five and a half years. It was always such a pleasure to see Jack and to come to know him better and better. I am so appreciative of his service to our country many years ago and for the kind heart he always carried. I am sorry that I was not able to be there to honour him on Saturday in person, but I will always have some great memories of our conversations and his warm smile!
